Public photos and stories are stored on Arweave (planned), with storage paid upfront. Blockchain identity points to the files. Guardians provide additional copies and reader availability, not base chain mining.

Funding follows a working policy of 0% automatic burn. Quoted storage and processing costs are covered first, then disclosed operations/reserve, then earmarked Guardian budget. Exact amounts would be shown before payment; current ETER prices are illustrative. No fixed fractions, no APY, no new token minting.
Rewards are only for measured assigned service. No EP, no holder yield. Family support is 100% recipient, 0 EP, 0 burn, and is separate from Guardian rewards.
Only already-funded rewards would be offered. Failed checks earn nothing; unused funds stay in the reward fund. A shrinking budget reduces future assignments, not the lifetime of an archive. If ETER loses value, operators may stop participating. Primary storage and saved copies must remain useful without Guardian incentives.
The long-term target is a published reader and node container, public archive references and alternative gateways. Reading must not require ETER, an account or our signer. Future autonomous reward claims must work without ETERNA servers, while still depending on functioning observers and blockchain infrastructure. The initially reviewed pilot does not meet that autonomy target.
Hashes prove content integrity, but availability checks don't prove independently stored physical copies or continuous retention. Observers can collude; the pilot is initially reviewed, not autonomous. Scarce coverage is prioritized irrespective of EP, popularity, or life status.
